Laterals to planet fisat

Yes, I opened the lateral account for CSE in fisat. Aug 16^th 2004 I enter to S3 CSE class. My appearance on day 1, almost like a “Medical Rep”. Few days before my admission I appeared for an interview, so new formal shirt, pant, shoes and a Polo sports bag. Some of friends in hostel always telling about my day one entry. While enters to class, wow…! good colors, the first two rows full gals…Microprocessor lectures going on…

Somehow I managed to get a seat n back bench. As usual it’s my slot, introduction…! Still that process going onJ. My eyes r busy with a raster scanning of class, some guys in bak bench…PC, tutu, sreeram..after few minutes one chit passed to me…hey why ru not coming to gals side…ha-ha, I guess sreeram is the man behind it…my self intro continued till the last hour, yes day 1 in new hostel.

Next day ulahu came, after two days Don came…we joined hand again…!...after two days first internals started, all guys r busy with studies but we are simply roaming and chit chattingJ

Yes, Kalavamkodam travels reached, Our Siji Machan….!

Siji Machan dint bring any books, or notes…but he dint forget to bring two plates and a spoonJ

I got 80% job..4 yrs back

Yes. I got 80% job…Company : Midas Telecommunication, Designation : Installation and Field Support Engineer, that too in Chennai...I think long back itself god planned me for this hot city…yes, finally me made it. he’s really gr8..This happens 4 yrs back...Shal we go to Govt. Polytechnic College, cherthala just for a horror..!

My colleagues don’t have many things to say about that studious guy who likes to discuss only about circuits and electronics, that’s quite natural. About my friends circle, it’s really narrow. It may end with some guys namely sarath, venu, siji*(he’s my partner in all crimes hereafter, he’ll be familiar soon.). But I really enjoyed life with some guys namely Don, ulahu in my engg campus. I know nobody wanna hear any studious guy’s story, no chance for a bit masala ;-). Everything is pakka academic, damn boring and dry. Just like a song in mallu movie 3yrs over now…yes its 2004 April..Partially am a diploma holder in Computer Hardware Maintenance (still needs auto correction for maintenance)..Two months coaching for lateral entry entrance (still I wonder why wasted that 2000 bucks for those entrance coaching)Lateral entrance over, don’t like to remember thatLYes. I got a call from placement cell regarding Midas Recruitment. Venue was Govt. Polytechnic Kalamassery..

Don’t know the exact date…so its 10.45 pm..I started to home aftr cleared all those rounds. Next day morng I got call, u cleared all the process and a final talk with our IFS head and some certificate verification will be there in Chennai next week. Big confusion at home, I wanna go for job, fatherji : no way, hell! What ru gonna do with this 5k?Amma finally accepted uncle’s opinion, lets go there and see how good it is. Then will take final decision. Yes, that’s the first time am going to Chennai…pithaji mera pas hei. Reached Midas office next day morng 9.30. They called me and one more guy named hareesh(he become my best frnd later, cuz we too really troubled that time, he’s now with Wipro) as we belongs to same branch, after a casual discussion they told us, our current requirement is for Electronics/Instrumentation departments. Computer guys will put into new project in a month or two, so will call u after a month. Yes. My fatherji was happy…our return ticket is next day only, that day nite my lateral entry result will be out. I went to café near to my room, after clicking submit button on that site….Loading……Please wait….

My life…a small flash back…don’t know where to start exactly…1985 Dec 26^th is too early. Till my 10 th...Nobody notice that toll average guy in the back bench. But I like hobby electronics….yes, another gateway in life…Govt. Polytechnic, Cherthala…Many stories are there. Will post on another day..!

Yes…its 4.30 pm..Chalakkudy bus is there in Cherthala bus stand…Siji macha and ulahu ready… (Very important characters for the coming scripts). so get into chalakkudy bus, taking 3 ticket to Angamaly…another story begins here…okay…its 6.30pm current location Angamaly…exact location, near to HP(not Hewlet Packard…our Hill Palace 3 star. this name will be familiar to u soon).Time for dinner in woodlands. While entering into woodlands one important discussion..Shal we go for a beer in KTDC beer parlor...mmm..Finally decided not today will make it next Sunday. Very rarely happen this..! So finished Battora and coffee. While paying our bill…….a trichoor slang voice…

.Mookkannoor…Mookkannor…Mookkanoor via Pandiyappally……Ave Maria waiting…3 ticket to Shappumpady..stop near to our hostel..7.45pm we get down at shapumpady…ulahu bought a kings pack.another 5 more minutes to walk.. through back gate we enter to our kingdom…yes…our fisat hostel. Federal Institute of Science and Technology...the place which gives a lot of sweet memories…As a lateral guy my engineering life starts from 3^rd sem…pakka studious while opening my balance sheet and ends with five point someone yes…chetanji’s style…I enjoyed these days like anything. and that three letter word CAT, spoiled my career…that itself another story.

April 13^th 2007, I got job, I guess it’s the starting of last sem, not into big corporate, a cochin based Software company. The earlier 3 letter word and my bad luck force me to take up that offer.As per the offer letter my joining date is confirmed as Aug 6^th, my last sem exam get over by Aug 3^rd..Two more days in home…Life started as Jr. Software Engineer..Hmmm

Yes…Its Poornam Info Vision…my first company. Good friends circle… yes awesome place…Life @poornam…another upcoming script. By Dec second week. Came to know about the Maveric-LIBA. PGP in finance and software’s.. I applied for the program. One more December over by then, that turned me to 22 by dec 26^th..We blasted that new year with balu (very very important character…balu..my dearest roomie, with whom I fight always.)...Time is flying so fast. yes its 2008 …Jan 3^rd ..Maveric LIBA Admission process schedule to my gmail..Written test GD and Interview…selection process over @ Taj Malabar in Wellington Island. Got selected for the PGP and class will commence on feb 4^th..Yes, filled up relieving form in poornam by Jan 30^th..

Feb 3^rd 2008, 4.30 pm….Current location…S12, MB,Aleppey- Chennai Express…on the way to Chennai…yes…feb 4 th 6.30am ,Chennai central, as I told am gonna doing a sponsored PGP, so company provided accommodation for 15 days in Hotel Krishna International in T.Nagar..(very important roaming place afterwards)By 8am started to college…yes its LIBA, Loyola Institute of Business Administration…a Well Known Management Institute in South…got a good impression on day 1..10 minutes late. Course coordinator given warning in day one itself…don’t think it’s a KG, no yaar..never, its for day one only.! Now two sems over. third sem nearing to final exams. Yes another exam season in a week…time to say good bye to LIBA….!will miss a lot…yes it’s a part of life. I realized….!
